This access point is popular in mesh WiFi installations in big houses and small offices. It has all the best specifications the Ubiquiti system can provide for a reasonable price. The difference from specs of a more expensive one is a bit narrower WiFi bandwidth which does not make a difference unless you connect dozens of WiFi devices simultaneously. The other difference is the PoE voltage which defines the maximum length of cable.

This one has the best hardware features you can get for a device under $1000. You will use the capability of this access point entirely only when you need 500 people to connect simultaneously. Although the number of users demanding maximum internet speed, let's say on a 100Mbs NBN connection, might be limited to a 20.

Legacy OpenMesh WiFi access points
Open Mesh acquired in late 2018. Although officially these WiFi access points still supported the firmware updated every 5-6 months instead of 1 hence the security and stability is not quarantined. Manly Electronics can service Open Mesh networks or upgrade to the alternative.
